West Texas A&M University is on its way to getting forty acres of land to build a new research feedlot.

The donated land will be an extension to the already existing feedlot used by WT at the Nance Ranch for the Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences.

The new feedlot will run the gamut from feed mixing to animal care and health to the sale of those animals to the packer.

Vice President for Philanthropy, Dr. Todd Rasberry says the gift will only help WT further its goal as a research facility.

The donation of the land for the new feedlot is from two longtime supporters of WTAMU.
