Netflix Spends Big Bucks for New Liam Neeson Movie

In a record-breaking deal, Netflix has acquired the rights to a new film starring Liam Neeson.

According to reports, the deal is a “domestic-only” deal that cost the streaming platform $18 million, after only seeing a promo for the movie. The film, “Ice Road,” has Neeson cast as an ice-truck driver leading a mission over a frozen ocean to save miners over water that’s thawing and another surprising threat. There’s no word yet on when the film will be released.
